She lifts her hand at the door, and the whole house glows warm behind her. It is every homecoming, every someone who waited up for us — the quiet, aching gladness of being remembered, of still belonging somewhere.

This series is printed on 200 gsm matte paper, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a default. The work is built from deep washes and thin veils of colour lifting out of near-black — a woven surface would scatter that transition, while a smooth sheet keeps the darkness even and lets the gold read as light rather than as texture.

Shipped unframed. Any frame shown in the photographs is there to show scale and is not included.
