A face surfaces from the dark — and for a breath, you know it. It is memory, it is longing, the someone we carry and can never quite hold. Here one moment, gone the next, luminous and impossibly tender.

This series is printed on 200 gsm matte paper, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a default. The work is built from deep washes and thin veils of colour lifting out of near-black — a woven surface would scatter that transition, while a smooth sheet keeps the darkness even and lets the gold read as light rather than as texture.

Shipped unframed. Any frame shown in the photographs is there to show scale and is not included.
