Two figures melt into a single form, and the line between them disappears. This is what it means to be held — to lose where you end and another begins, to belong so completely that not even the dark can pull you apart.

This series is printed on 200 gsm matte paper, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a default. The work is built from deep washes and thin veils of colour lifting out of near-black — a woven surface would scatter that transition, while a smooth sheet keeps the darkness even and lets the gold read as light rather than as texture.

Shipped unframed. Any frame shown in the photographs is there to show scale and is not included.
