Two walls leaning in until the sky is a strip you could cover with a thumb. The left wall is cut clean and the right one is torn, and the torn side is where the light gets in. A gap this narrow makes very little sky feel like a great deal of it.

This series is printed on 200 gsm matte paper, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a default. The work is built from three flat inks and a halftone dot rather than from brushwork — a woven surface would break the dot apart, while a smooth sheet holds every edge exactly where it was cut, and every torn edge exactly where it tore.

Shipped unframed. Any frame shown in the photographs is there to show scale and is not included.
