Four rows of trees, each one paler than the row standing in front of it, until the last is barely a suggestion. What's torn is the band of fog nearest you. Everything you can see clearly is the thing standing between you and everything you can't.

This series is printed on 200 gsm matte paper, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a default. The work is built from three flat inks and a halftone dot rather than from brushwork — a woven surface would break the dot apart, while a smooth sheet holds every edge exactly where it was cut, and every torn edge exactly where it tore.

Shipped unframed. Any frame shown in the photographs is there to show scale and is not included.

Materials & printing

Matte paper at 200 gsm: uncoated, real weight in the hand, and no glare from any angle.

Shipped rolled in a protective tube, so the frame is yours to choose. Every size is a standard square and easy to fit.

Printed to order at the facility closest to you, so nothing is overproduced and nothing sits in a warehouse.

If it arrives damaged or misprinted, send a photo within 30 days and we reprint and reship it at our cost. Nothing needs to go back.

The rest of the series

Two or three pieces from the same body of work will always sit better beside each other than three chosen one at a time.

Structure and cool colour. Geometry, repetition, a line you can follow. It gives the room some energy without competing with whatever is on your desk.
